Our quality philosophy entails at its core Quality First principles. Our goal for every project is to front-load the definition of quality by scrutinizing customer requirements as comprehensively as possible before any work begins. We do not separate linguistic and technical requirements, since we recognize that in multilingual electronic publishing and communication that these two areas are interdependent. In addition, we place a strong emphasis on risk analysis and management.

We understand that in order to attain the requisite quality for each project that the issues of time and cost must be adequately and transparently addressed. Through our detailed quoting process, we demonstrate the steps necessary to achieve a quality outcome. Finally, as all projects are unique, we recognize and live up to our professional obligation to design and implement processes that will lead to the best outcome, and not blindly follow a generic approach.

ISO 9001:2000 Certification

We take quality seriously. We have always been a technically oriented, process-focused company in
the delivery of our translation, localization and support services, and we are proud to announce
that we have taken our commitment to quality a step further.

We achieved ISO 9001:2000 certification following our registration audit on January 12 and 13, 2004.

Since that time, we belong to an elite group of localization/globalization firms* worldwide that have demonstrated conformance to these standards of quality, process, management and training.

Many months of preparation and training were required to meet the rigorous standards. ALT's commitment of resources to this project and the subsequent improvement in process quality underlines the belief of all in the company that our customers deserve our very best efforts.

See gaining certification in January 2004, Advanced Language has maintained this status uninterrupted. We are currently preparing for our upgrade to the ISO 9901:2008 by the end of 2009.
